The dashboard used to be the last place in America where nobody corrected your language. The speedometer did not care about your feelings. The fuel gauge never asked for your pronouns. Then came the software update.
Woke GPS is the navigation app for the new era. It does not simply find the fastest route. It finds the most considerate one. Approaching a neighborhood where someone might, theoretically, use the wrong pronoun? Rerouting to avoid Misgendering Hotspot. Tried to say "ladies and gentlemen" while merging? Recalculating. And recalculating. The app has filed a complaint with HR about your driving, and HR has scheduled a mandatory training for your steering wheel.
The joke works because every driver recognizes the grain of truth inside it. Navigation apps already reroute you around toll roads, traffic, and bad weather. The satire only extends the logic one step: what if the app also optimized for ideological safety? The fuel of the bit is the same fuel behind every great tech joke, the feeling that the device in your pocket has opinions about you. Your phone already personalizes your experience, which is a polite way of saying it watches everything you do. Woke GPS just says the quiet part out loud, in a calm voice, while taking the long way around.
There is no product here. There is no update to install, no settings toggle, no startup pitching Misgendering Hotspot avoidance to venture capital. Yet. The post is pure comedy, no factual claims, no receipts to file. It exists because the best satire does not need a news hook. It needs a shared experience, and everyone who has ever argued with a GPS voice at 2am has one.

One note on the game: the punch lands on the culture of linguistic policing, not on any person or group. The GPS is the character. The driver is all of us. And the button is the one every commuter already knows: you were never going to arrive on time anyway. Now you have a socially conscious reason.
